Crystallized Air

How cold is it? It's so cold that the air crystallizes and clings to everything.

If you've been following this blog you've seen some pictures of how the fog settles down on the lake around here (Here's one post: http://herbal-blog.herbal-howto-guide.com/2009/11/star-ship-earth.html). With temperatures in the NEGATIVE numbers at night, the lake is definitely warmer than the air. This causes the strange fog. However, when the air gets super cold that fog crystallizes on everything. The new header on this blog and on the Herbal How To Guide website is the beautiful artwork created by Mother Nature.
